Setup Instructions

Access S3 Console

  1. Log into your AWS Console.
  2. Navigate to S3.
  3. Select the bucket you want Pelanor to monitor.

Create Inventory Configuration

  1. Open the bucket’s Management tab.
  2. Click Create inventory configuration.

Configure Basic Settings

  1. Inventory name:

pelanor-inventory
2. Leave Inventory scope at its default setting.

If you need to limit the scope to a specific prefix, contact Pelanor Support.

Configure Report Details

  1. Bucket settings
    • Destination bucket: pelanor-external-[UUID]
    • Add the suffix s3-inventory to the bucket name.

The suffix s3-inventory is required.

  1. Format settings
    • Output format: Apache Parquet
    • Keep default encryption.

Configure Metadata Fields

Under Additional metadata fields, select:

  • Size
  • Last modified
  • Storage Class
